Fantasy Fest Pet Parade Key West, FL October 24, 2007

Fantasy Fest Pet Parade Key West, FL.

The animal kingdom reigns supreme at this endearing parade of furred and feathered creatures. Whether large or small, cute or scary, two footed or four, costumed pets take center stage to beguile and enchant animal lovers of all ages.

The WKEY Pet Masquerade and Parade is a favorite of locals and repeat visitors to Fantasy Fest®. ®. A sparkling glow is cast as the stage bursts (and barks!) with bedecked and bejeweled pets and their adoring humans. Sometimes, the humans look almost as good as the pets! Categories of competition include Most Exotic Attire, Best Theme Adaptation, Pet/Owner Look-a-likes and Junior Division.

The purrrrfectly wonderful folks at local radio station WKEY are the ring masters of this wild and zany animal extravaganza. Call them at 305-296-7511 or e-mail johnstuempfig@clearchannel.com for entry information.

There is no charge for spectators. Contestant registration goes from 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm. All registration fees benefit the Lower Keys Friends of Animals. Seating for the show is on a first come, first serve basis. Get there early – these chairs will be gone before you know it!

Coco Bear's Profile:
Name:
Coco Bear - His mom wanted to call him Coco because he looked the color of Hershey's Cocoa, her favorite cologne is Chanel Coco and that is where the spelling came from. His three brother's Ryan, Reese, and Michael wanted to name him Bear as they thought he looked like a baby bear cub. And that is how he got his name. As Coco has gotten older he now is the color of hot cocoa
Mom's nickname's:
Love Bug, Snuggle Bunny, Cuddle Dud, Willis, Dummer's, and Pee Buddy (Because he accompany's everyone to the bathroom)
Dad's nickname's: Bubba, Baby
Home:
Burton, Michigan
Gender:
Male - a very cute one too!!!!!!! Some people think he resembles a Ewok, or Chewbacca
Age:
11 yrs. old and still very active, has trouble relaxing always worried he is missing out on something. When he does relax you will find him sucking on a stuffed animal just as though it was his pacifier (Ernie preferably)
Personality:
Love's everybody, he has always been very gentle. He is very smart and seems to know everything we say to him. We continue to ask our self's "how does he know". As Coco is getting older when food is involved or when doesn't want to be bothered. He can turn into demon dog in an instant.
Occupation:
He loves to do tricks. He can fetch, sit, lay, shake with either paw, catch, dance, roll over, play dead, and even say his prayer's. He is one smart pup
Favorite Toys: His absolute favorite is a stuffed Sesame Street Ernie purchased from a garage sale by his brother Michael, however he plays with every toy he owns
Favorite Past times:
He likes lovin and cuddlin, walk's, having company over, car ride's, loves to go camping, loves his grown brothers to come home, and stalks and chases squirrel's daily
Favorite Foods:
Nutro Max, Milk Bones and Beggin Strip's are his every day source of food
Favorite Treat:
Popcorn, icecream, and an occasional gum drop
Favorite Season:
He loves them all. Living in Michigan he has quite a variety to play in
His Picture:
Was taken this year. We call it his senior portrait, not from high school but because of his age

Coco is a very special dog.
He has had epilepsy since we purchased him at 5 weeks old. This made us love him all the more. Some people would have disposed of a animal with this type of problem. But to us he is the BEST AND SMARTEST DOG IN THE WHOLD WORLD - COCO THE WONDER DOG
